Parish Mission Statement

Our Parish seeks to live as a family – supporting one another, open to all comers, building a community where each person feels wanted and cared for. To make this happen, we will work to grow in holiness through prayer and service and we will try to show God’s love in our daily lives.

Delay is no longer an option

If a nuclear weapon had devastated an area the size of Ireland, and the smoke from the resulting fires had blown as far as 12,000 kilometers from the site, we would be truly appalled.  But something of this size has actually happened before our eyes and is still going on.  The wildfires in Australia are, according to the best assessments available, as damaging as they are because of global warming.  How much more evidence do we need before we are prepared to tell our politicians to move faster on climate change?  This is God’s earth, he has given us the intelligence and the responsibility to care for it.  Pray, act and vote accordingly.

PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY

To mark the conclusion of the week of prayer for Christian unity (2020).  A Service of Prayer and Song, led by the Rev. Alan Breen, Rector, Kill O’ The Grange (C.of I.) Parish will take place at 4.00 pm on Sunday 26th January 2020 in this Church (Holy Family).  All are invited to attend.  Refreshments will be available after the service.  This is an occasion for Christians to come together to offer praise, worship, and thanksgiving to the Lord.
