Legion of Mary, Annual Acies Ceremony

Each year the members of the Legion of Mary renew their consecration to Mary.  This will take place on Wednesday, 24 March at 4 p.m. in our Church.  Although the church will be closed the ceremony will be transmitted on our parish webcam.

 

Palm Sunday

At all the Masses over Palm Sunday Weekend, we will bless Reeds and Reed Crosses.  These will be available at the back of the Church in the area reserved for Private Prayer.  Following each Mass, the Church will open for half an hour where you might wish to come along and pick up a Reed or a Cross.  You might also like to take one home for a neighbour.

 

Wednesday Evenings in Lent

Evening Prayer of the Church with Adoration

Each Wednesday evening during Lent we will have Evening Prayer of the Church with Adoration concluding with Benediction at 7.30 pm.  The Church will be closed for this Service and will be available on the Webcam only.

 

Friday Evenings in Lent

Stations of the Cross

Each Friday during Lent we will pray the Stations of the Cross.  The Church will be closed for this Service and will be available on the Webcam only.

 

Church Opening for Private Prayer

The Church will be open for private prayer from Monday to Friday each week from 10.30 am until 12 noon.

 

Cards with the Timetable

For Holy Week and Easter ceremonies, are now ready for distribution to homes.  We would be very grateful if people would volunteer to deliver the envelopes on their road.  You could collect the bundles from the seat at the partition.
