Summer Dues- Thank you for your contributions to Summer Dues. Envelopes are available on the tables near the church doors. Dues and Common Fund (1st collection at Mass) support the priests of the Dublin Archdiocese.
Tax on donation scheme: The generosity that people show towards their priests is very reassuring. Your contributions can go further without any additional cost to you thanks to the tax relief available on charitable donations. With your help, the parish can claim a tax refund from Revenue to the value of up to 45% of your identifiable contributions amounting to €250 or more in any given year. Please use the envelope provided, giving your details so that the parish can contact you, to help process the tax rebate from Revenue. The parish can reclaim the tax no matter whether you are PAYE or Self-Assessed. This tax rebate from Revenue is now an important source of income for the parish.
June collection for St Vincent de Paul raised €1,522. Thank you for your generosity.
Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes this year will be led by Archbishop Dermot Farrell from 5 September to 12 September. Contributions to the Lourdes Invalid Fund will be gratefully received at the parish shop.

Sunday Mass Time - Change from Sunday 11 August 2024.
The Parish Pastoral Council at its meeting on 13 June reflected on the number (3) of Masses celebrated on Sunday mornings and on the availability of priests in coming months. The members looked at the number of people attending each of the three Masses over recent months. They also recognise the need for priests to take their annual holidays, to go on retreat, and to recuperate, when necessary, from sickness and other health issues when such may arise from time to time.
The Council also considered the extreme difficulty and at times the impossibility, in finding priests from outside the parish to cover the Masses when a priest of this parish is not available for one or another reason.
The Council for these reasons unanimously endorsed the decision to reduce the number of Masses on Sunday from 3 to 2, namely
at 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon, to begin on Sunday 11 August 2024. The congregations at the Sunday Masses will be advised of the change.
The vigil Mass on Saturday at 5.00 p.m. will continue as usual. People who have booked Mass intentions at the 9.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. from Sunday 11 August and afterward will be contacted and offered alternative times at the other Masses.
The PPC very much regrets the need to reduce the number of Masses on Sundays from 3 to 2 and hopes that there will not be too much disappointment.
