Parish Mission Statement

Our Parish seeks to live as a family – supporting one another, open to all comers, building a community where each person feels wanted and cared for. To make this happen, we will work to grow in holiness through prayer and service and we will try to show God’s love in our daily lives.

Christ is risen! We are risen!

The resurrection of the Lord dominates Eastertide. Today’s liturgy provides an example of the power of the resurrection. Peter’s threefold confession of faith reverses his threefold denial of Jesus during the passion. Jesus’ forgiveness of his disciple is intended to assure his disciples of his forgiveness.

Preparing for the Synod- What might the Holy Spirit be indicating in this? Meeting was a hopeful and positive experience even with the significant volume of challenges shared. Nevertheless, the hope that the whole church is open to hearing the voice of its global parishioners builds a sense of renewal and opportunity. We need to trust that what our pre-synod gathering has produced is a humble listening to the Holy Spirit and that the church hierarchy along with its “on the ground faithful” can build Christ’s church for the

A Special thank you to all who donated to Easter Dues collection this Eastertide. The Christmas, Easter, and Summer Dues together with the weekly collection on Sunday all contribute to the support of the priests of the Diocese and to the sick and the retired priests of the diocese.

Vigil Mass on Saturday is now at 5 pm from Saturday 30th April 2022 going forward.

Lay Ministry Collection 14 & 15 May 2022

The annual diocesan collection for Lay Ministry in the Archdiocese of Dublin is on 14 & 15 May. Leaflets with the Archbishop’s message are on the tables near the church doors.

Church Roof Repairs

The roofing contractor has reported that the church roof’s condition that the western and northern turret roofs require immediate repair. The job quote is € 40,860. Support, as with the central heating, is requested to keep the roof on our church building.   Work is expected to begin soon.   Donations towards the roof repair fund are urgently needed and welcome.
