There are repairs required to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel roof, the north tower in the main church building as well as the resource centre / hall roof. Estimated to cost € 35,000 approx.
The monthly church door collection for St. Vincent de Paul society takes place this weekend. Please give generously .
Family Parish commemorative book (40th anniversary) is available to take away as a token of the jubilee celebrations on 1 October. - donation in blue box welcome.
Family Mass 12 Noon -Sundays. Children are encouraged to take an active part in this Mass through reading, singing, and drama. Children preparing for First Holy Communion and Confirmation are invited to take part. Practice for this family Mass takes place at 11.15 a.m. each Sunday prior to the Mass. Thank you.
Mission Sunday next Sunday 22nd October 2023- special collection for the Catholic Missions instead of Share collection.
Synodality: The Synod of Bishops is meeting in Rome from 4 – 29 October, on the theme: ‘For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, Mission’. The aim of the Synodal Process is to provide an opportunity for the entire People of God to discern together how to move forward towards being a more synodal Church in the long-term. Pope Francis in October 2021, convened the whole Church in Synod. Since that time there have been gatherings of the faithful at parish, national and continental levels.
Copies of the Synod newsletter for this Sunday are available near the church doors .
Altar List of the Dead- November - the month of the Holy Souls - we remember our dear departed and pray for them. Mass is offered for those on the Altar List on the First Friday of each month. Envelopes & Lists are available on the tables near the church doors and may be filled in & then returned to the church safe or to Parish Office.
The annual Mass in commemoration of those whose funerals were held at Holy Family Parish Church during the year up to the 21st October 2023 will be held at 7.30 p.m. Wednesday 8th November 2023.
Celebrate Creation with Colour - The Environmental Group would welcome the gift of some colourful indoor plants for the Autumn & Jubilee celebrations. Plants may be left at the Laudato Si area in the church. Thank you.
